Covers **data processing**, **hardware and software**, monitoring/control systems, **eSecurity**, **expert systems**, and the **digital divide**.

Practical: Applications

Introduces practical skills in common applications, including **spreadsheets**, **databases**, and **media editing**.

A Level Content: Advanced Topics (Papers 3 and 4)

The A Level expands into strategic IT management, new technologies, and complex practical development.

Theory: Strategic IT and Social Impact

Covers **new technologies**, the **societal impact of IT**, **communication technologies**, **project management**, and the **system life cycle**.

Practical: Development and Graphics

Involves advanced skills in **web programming** (e.g., JavaScript), and complex work with **graphics and animation**.

A Level Papers (P3 & P4)

  • **Paper 4 (Advanced Practical):** 2 hrs 30 mins practical test | **25%** of A Level mark.
